Retailer Of The Year Nomination for Lina Kanafani

It has been an exciting month for the owner of Mint, Lina Kanafani. Following on from the inspiring article ‘One Lady Owners‘ in the April Issue of Elle Decoration, Lina was nominated for Retailer Of The Year at the Homes & Gardens Awards, which took place earlier this month.

The Homes & Gardens Awards has been celebrating iconic design for over 15 years now and it promotes the strongest in British based talent which has previously included the likes of Sir James Dyson and Sir Terence Conran.

Lina was up against Jasper Conran of the Conran Shop and Ben and Kate Lawrence of Norfolk based gallery The Cold Press. The winner in the end went to the Jasper Conran, however as you can see from the photograph below which was taken at the awards, Lina was still particularly happy in knowing that she was nominated for such an accolade as Retailer of the Year.
